About Moderndataiq

A Western Australian training practice devoted to reading volume beside price — not stacking indicators.

Quiet urban horizon suggesting patient study of markets over noise

Why this practice exists

Moderndataiq grew from years of sitting with charts after the close — replaying opens, marking where volume dried up before a reversal, and noticing how often traders skip that work in favour of another oscillator. The practice exists to teach that slower craft: technical analysis as careful reading of price and traded volume.

Where we work

The studio address is 81 Healy Road, Yornup, Western Australia. Most coaching runs remotely so traders across Australia can join around their market hours. Occasional in-person mark-up sessions are arranged when travel and calendars allow.

Approach

We treat each chart as an auction record. Price shows where the market agreed to trade; volume shows how eagerly participants showed up. Lessons emphasise spoken narration, hand mark-ups, and short journals over elaborate dashboards. Credentials we respect are ordinary ones: time spent reviewing sessions, honesty about losing trades, and patience with unfinished skills.

Values in the room

  • Specificity over slogans — name the bar, the volume print, the level.
  • Humility about uncertainty — a clear read can still be wrong; management still matters.
  • Australian market context — ASX open behaviour, thin afternoon books, and local session quirks get real attention when they affect your charts.

Working with clients

Enquiries start with a short conversation about your markets and experience. If a clinic or intensive is a poor fit, we say so and may suggest a single chart review instead. Training fees are informational on the Rates page; nothing here is a brokerage or advisory relationship.
