Curriculum

The teaching sequence behind Moderndataiq lessons — from bar anatomy to climax volume and honest journaling.

This curriculum underpins the Volume & Price Action Intensive and shapes shorter clinics and reviews. It is a teaching path, not a certificate programme and not a signal service.

Sequence of study

Bar anatomy in auction context

Open, close, range, and wicks as records of acceptance and rejection. Students practice describing a single bar before naming any pattern.

Swing structure without indicator fog

Higher highs, failed auctions, and balance areas drawn by hand. The aim is a map you can explain to another trader in under a minute.

Volume as participation, not decoration

Rising, falling, climax, and drought prints relative to the local session. Students mark where volume agrees with price and where it argues.

Session chapters

Open drive, mid-session balance, and closing imbalance on Australian and overlapping international hours. Thin books get explicit attention.

Failure cases and trade narration

Breakouts that stall, springs that work, and the short written narrative required before entry. Journals are reviewed for honesty, not perfection.

How curriculum meets lessons

Chart reviews sample one or two stages above. Clinics emphasise live narration inside stages three and four. The intensive walks the full sequence with homework between meetings.
