What we collect
- Enquiry form details: name, email, selected lesson type, optional market notes, and message content
- Scheduling correspondence and invoices
- Charts or journals you voluntarily send for reviews or homework
- Technical logs such as IP address and basic browser data when you visit the site
- Cookie preferences stored in your browser (see Cookies)
We do not ask for brokerage passwords, government ID numbers, or payment card data through this website.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver booked lessons, send session notes, improve the curriculum where feedback is offered, and meet accounting and legal duties in Australia.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months if no engagement follows. Client training records and invoices are retained for seven years or as required by Australian tax law. Charts you upload for a single review are deleted within ninety days after the session unless you ask us to keep them for ongoing work.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal retention requirements. To exercise these rights, email info@moderndataiq.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
International transfers
If we use email or video-meeting providers that store data outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers protect information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By enquiring or booking, you acknowledge that such transfers may occur.
Children
Training is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the page date when material changes occur. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy.
