Refunds & Cancellations
Scope
This policy applies to Moderndataiq paid training: the Volume & Price Action Intensive, one-to-one chart reviews, and small-group clinics. It does not cover third-party software licences, brokerage fees, or products we do not sell.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel, whether a deposit or full fee was paid, and whether coaching time or clinic delivery has already begun.
Timeframes
- Chart reviews: Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the appointment. Cancellations inside 48 hours forfeit the session fee unless we can fill the slot.
- Intensives: Deposit is refundable if you cancel at least 14 days before session one. Between 14 and 7 days, the deposit is retained; unused session fees not yet paid are not charged. Inside 7 days, the deposit and any prepaid sessions scheduled in the following week are non-refundable.
- Clinics: Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the clinic date, provided the group still meets its minimum after your withdrawal. Inside 7 days, fees are non-refundable because materials and coach time are committed.
Partial refunds
If Moderndataiq cancels a session or clinic, you may choose a reschedule or a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled delivery. If an intensive is interrupted by us after it has started, unused remaining sessions are refunded proportionally.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits inside the non-refundable windows above
- Coach preparation already completed for a no-show chart review
- Printed materials prepared for an agreed in-person visit after printing has begun
- Completed sessions within an intensive
No-shows and late arrival
Missing a chart review or clinic without notice is treated as a completed delivery for refund purposes. Late arrival of more than twenty minutes may shorten the session without fee reduction.
Rescheduling
One complimentary reschedule is allowed for chart reviews with at least 48 hours’ notice. Intensives may shift individual session dates by mutual agreement; shifting the entire block inside 7 days of session one may require a new deposit.
Work already started
Homework reviews already written, and coaching hours already delivered, are not refunded. Remaining future intensive sessions may be refunded under the partial-refund rules above when Moderndataiq ends the engagement early for operational reasons.
Process and timing
Email info@moderndataiq.digital with your name, lesson type, and booking dates. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten business days. Bank processing times may add further days.
Exceptions
Australian Consumer Law guarantees still apply where relevant. If a lesson differs substantially from the written description you accepted, contact us to discuss a remedy, which may include a further session or a refund.
